Asian-Pacific Regional Research and Training Centre. This is a UNDP/FAO project that commenced in 1983 for a duration of four years. The objectives are: to build up national capacity to assist third world countries in the development of integrated fish farming; to conduct training for senior fish culture technicians from developing countries in integration of fish culture, livestock and crop production; to initiate a programme of research on traditional practices of fish-livestock-crop farming in China.
