22 September 2020, Opticari village, North Macedonia - Pande Damcevski, a family farmer at his maize field in the village of Opticari, North Macedonia. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he experienced 60 percent income loss caused by the problems with the quality of his agricultural production and hampered access to markets. Pande is one of the 359 landowners from Opticari village who participate in land consolidation in the frames of the EU-funded MAINLAND project, implemented by FAO in North Macedonia.
