16 May 2022, Netrokona, Bangladesh - Due to flash floods, a dam that used to serve as a road, has been damaged. The flood water has seeped into the village and has submerged the houses. The crop fields are submerged as well, and farmers have lost their crops to the flash flood.

Background Information
Almost every year, this part of Bangladesh faces acute flash floods causing property damage and loss of livelihood. FAO jointly with the Bangladesh government working on a pilot project of emergency resonance and early working system.
