PHILIPPINES 2022. Small Scale Fisheries (SSF) and Small Scale Aquaculture (SSA)
14th of March, 2022, Lala, Lanao del Norte, Philippines - Boxes of freshly landed, farmed bangus (milkfish) from a nearby fish pen sit in a landing site in the late hours of the day. The pens in this area hold around 20.000 milkfish each and once they have reached the marketable size of 300g the fish farmers start emptying the pen and ferry them to shore to landing sites like these.
