Background Information
Small-scale Beekeeping: TFD-97/SAM/001. The TeleFood Special Fund of FAO provided materials for the small-scale beekeeping operation, such as wood, smokers, protective overalls, and 20 broods of bees. The fund, raised by the general public during the 1997 global TeleFood campaign, is part of the organization's worldwide effort to eradicate hunger.
