FRANCE 2025. FAO DG QU DONGYU Official travel
15 September 2024. Tiquina, Bolivia. In the community of Huatapampa, on the shores of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia, amaranth producers exhibited samples of this Andean grain, with varieties identifiable by their red, black and white colors. With technical support from FAO, women strengthened their capacities to transform this ancestral food of high nutritional value.
