27 March 2018, Gaziantep, Turkey - Graduates from FAO's training program are employed in skilled jobs maintaining the olive grove of a woman from the village they live in. Since 2017 FAO has been providing theoretical, practical and on-the-job training to Syrian refugees and unemployed Turkish citizens. Trainees learn about the different stages of the supply chain, from planting, irrigating and harvesting, to processing, packaging and ensuring hygienic practices.
