Background Information
This photo gallery documents activities on a family-run farm in Bakhor village, Tagob jamoat, Rasht district, which is part of FAO-GEF agrobiodiversity project in Tajikistan. The farm cultivates rose hips, Anzur onion, and newly introduced crops like horse beans using materials and tools provided through the project. A solar drying structure, walk-behind tractor, and seeding equipment are helping farmers diversify production and reduce post-harvest losses, while also protecting local biodiversity and landscapes.
