很高兴在今年由中国国家留学基金管理委员会主办的联合国机构宣讲咨询活动上致辞。
今天，广大青年才俊与各地各级政府、学术机构及国际组织代表济济一堂，
共筑思想碰撞与对话合作的高端平台。
本次活动充分彰显我们的共同信念：投资青年发展，就是投资未来繁荣。
我们以此铸就坚实的人才基石，为所有人开创更可持续、更公平的美好未来。
今年适逢联合国粮农组织八十华诞，对本组织而言具有特殊的里程碑意义。
八十载砥砺征程，粮农组织始终奋战在
全球消除饥饿与营养不良伟大事业的第一线。
八十年光阴荏苒，我们始终初心不改、信念坚定：
为所有人实现粮食安全，让每个人
都享有安全、营养、丰盛的食物，过上健康积极的人生。
我们深知前路道阻且长，
但更坚信未来蕴藏无限可能。
社会发展进步，离不开卓越引领、创新驱动、团结共进——这些关键要素，正是当代青年笃信并践行的核心价值基石。
粮农组织持续精准对接青年发展需求，
积极拓展联合国系统内外成才空间，
全方位助力青年学习成长、施展才华、引领变革。
放眼全球，我们看到青年一代敏于创新、精于专识，
胸怀时代担当，矢志建设更高效、
更包容、更有韧性且更可持续的农业粮食体系。
我们高度赞赏各成员国的建设性作为，
在大力投入青年赋能支撑的同时，积极深化与联合国系统合作，
共同培养具有全球视野的新生代专业力量。
国家留学基金委的卓越实践，正是此项宝贵支撑最突出的例证。

你们有着蓬勃的朝气与坚定的意志，一定能够有力推动
全球农业粮食体系转型，助力实现“四个更好”：

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am pleased to address this year’s UN Job Fair hosted by the China Scholarship Council,
which brings together an inspiring gathering of bright young minds,
alongside representatives of governments, academia, and international organizations.
This Fair reflects our shared conviction that investing in youth
means investing in a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
This year marks a special milestone for FAO as we mark our 80th anniversary.
For eight decades, FAO has stood at the forefront of global efforts
to eradicate hunger and malnutrition.
Eighty years later, our goal remains clear:
to achieve food security for all, ensuring that every individual has access
to safe, nutritious and sufficient food to live a healthy, productive life.
We know the challenges ahead are great,
but we also know that the potential is huge.
Progress depends on leadership, innovation, and solidarity - values embodied by the youth of today.
FAO continues to expand its engagement with young people,
creating opportunities to learn, contribute,
and lead change across the UN system and beyond.
Across the world, we see how young people bring creativity, knowledge,
and a strong sense of purpose to building more efficient,
more inclusive, more resilient and more sustainable agrifood systems.
We also acknowledge with deep appreciation the important role of Members,
in supporting youth empowerment and strengthening cooperation with the United Nations
to nurture the next generation of global professionals.
The China Scholarship Council is a reflection of that invaluable support.
Dear Youth,
Through your energy and determination, you can help advance
the transformation of global agrifood systems, and ensure the Four Betters:
better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life for all, leaving no one behind.
As we look to the future, let us work together across sectors, across borders,
and across generations to transform today’s challenges into opportunities for all.
Your actions today will define the solutions of tomorrow.
