Background Information
The objective of the assignment is to provide support to the implementation of the FAO Finland Forestry Programme/National Forest Assessment (NFA) project in Viet Nam, in order to obtain improvements in the quality and scope of socio-economic (SE) data and information to be collected within the next National Forest Inventory, Monitoring and Assessment Programme (NFIMAP), and serving better the national forest related socio-economic information needs for national and international decision making and reporting.
